How every shipment is inspected

  1. Supplier verification. Sources are qualified before any order: business verification, track record, and escalation rules for high-risk part categories.
  2. Documentation check. Purchase documentation, lot and date-code information and supplier certificates are matched against the order before goods are accepted.
  3. Incoming inspection. Packaging, labeling, markings, date codes, leads/coplanarity and moisture-barrier condition are inspected and recorded. The process is aligned with AS6081 counterfeit-avoidance practices for independent distribution - our guide to AS6081 vs AS6171 explains the standards.
  4. Escalation testing. Risk indicators trigger extended verification before release, arranged with test partners where required.
  5. Release with documentation. Shipment with Certificate of Conformance, full traceability, and MSL-correct packaging and handling (see our MSL guide).

Why this matters for obsolete and allocated parts

The open market is where counterfeit risk concentrates - and it is also the only market where discontinued components can still be found. A documented inspection chain is what makes independent distribution safe to use for exactly the parts that need it most: EOL, last-time-buy and allocation-constrained stock.

Is GlobX ISO 9001 certified?

Yes. GlobX GmbH holds a TUV Rheinland-issued ISO 9001 quality management certificate (No. 01 100 2300171) covering global distribution and supply in bottleneck markets for electronic components. The certificate is publicly verifiable in the Certipedia register.

How does GlobX screen for counterfeit components?

Every inbound shipment passes a documented inspection: packaging and labeling verification, visual inspection of markings, date codes and coplanarity, and escalation to extended testing where risk indicators appear. The process is aligned with AS6081 counterfeit-avoidance practices for independent distribution.

What documentation comes with a GlobX shipment?

A Certificate of Conformance (CoC), full traceability of the supply source, and manufacturer labels and packaging where supplied. Additional documentation such as test reports can be arranged before shipment on request.
